Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information is collected when you visit quaionmor.org and how it is handled.

Last updated: May 25, 2026.

Overview

Quaionmor.org is a static informational website about woodworking projects and techniques. It does not operate a user accounts system, does not process payments, and does not collect personally identifiable information except through the voluntary contact form.

Information Collected

Contact Form

If you submit the contact form on the About page, the information you provide — name, email address, phone number, and message — is captured and may be used to respond to your enquiry. This information is not shared with third parties. The form on this site uses a client-side simulation and does not transmit data to a server; no personal data entered into the form is stored or transmitted.

Server Logs

Web servers routinely record visitor IP addresses, browser type, referring page, and pages visited as part of standard HTTP request logging. These logs are retained for a limited period and used only for diagnostic purposes.

Cookies

This site uses a single cookie stored in localStorage to remember whether you have accepted or rejected the cookie consent notice. No tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics cookies are set by this site.

Third-Party Services

Google Fonts

This site loads web fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com). When your browser requests a font, Google's servers receive your IP address as part of the standard HTTP request. Google's Privacy Policy applies to this interaction.

Wikimedia Commons

Images on this site are served directly from Wikimedia Commons (upload.wikimedia.org). When your browser loads these images, Wikimedia's servers receive your IP address. The Wikimedia Foundation's Privacy Policy applies.

Data Retention

No personal data entered by visitors is retained by this site. Server logs are deleted periodically. The localStorage value recording cookie consent is stored in your browser and can be removed at any time by clearing your browser storage.

Your Rights

Under applicable Canadian privacy legislation (PIPEDA and provincial equivalents) and, where applicable, the European GDPR, you have the right to request access to any personal information held about you and to request its deletion. Given that this site retains no personal data, such requests are satisfied by default.
